KCSSR’s Journey to the Semi-Finals in Gupti Para Football Tournament
On October 22, 2024, the football grounds of Gupti Para in Hooghly District came alive with the energy of a much-anticipated tournament, featuring 16 competitive teams from across the region. Among the teams was the spirited KCSSR squad, whose skill and teamwork led them to a strong finish, advancing all the way to the semi-finals.
The tournament was filled with excitement as fans cheered for their favorite teams. KCSSR showcased resilience and strategic play throughout their matches, holding their own against some of the toughest contenders in the region. With each victory, they solidified their reputation as a determined and skillful team, embodying both sportsmanship and the dedication required to advance in such a prestigious event.

Although they didn’t advance to the finals, their journey was a testament to their potential and strength, inspiring fans and setting a high standard for the next tournament. On the auspicious day of Maha Sasthi, KCSSR successfully organized a free eyeglass distribution event. From morning to evening, a total of 200 underprivileged individuals received free eyeglasses to support their vision needs. This initiative was aimed at providing necessary aid to those who cannot afford essential healthcare services.
KCSSR’s effort to uplift and assist the less fortunate reflects its commitment to community welfare. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event a success, and we hope to continue similar efforts in the future.
On 8th August, the KCSSR Club organized a highly impactful free eye camp, dedicated to serving the local community. This event attracted around 300 residents, offering them comprehensive eye check-ups at no cost. The initiative was part of KCSSR’s ongoing commitment to community welfare and healthcare accessibility.
The camp was staffed by a team of experienced ophthalmologists and medical professionals who provided thorough eye examinations, including vision tests, screenings for common eye conditions, and consultations. Attendees received personalized advice on maintaining eye health, and those in need of further treatment were guided on the next steps.

On June 25, 2024 (Tuesday), a grand knockout football competition was organized at our Dakshin Shiv Bari Barwari Maidan. Teams from various regions participated, bringing with them a spirit of competition and camaraderie. The atmosphere was electric, with spectators filling the stands and cheering for their favorite teams.
Each team gave their best, but it was our team’s dedication, strategy, and relentless pursuit of victory that set us apart. From the group stages to the final match, our players demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination.
As the tournament progressed, the competition became fiercer, but our team remained focused and united. The semi-final was a nail-biting affair, with our defense holding strong and our attackers seizing every opportunity. The final match was the pinnacle of the tournament, a true test of our abilities and resolve.

We are distributing seeds to poor farmers in the villages with the help of NGOs. We are providing three types of rice seeds: Randhuni Pagal, Radha Tilak, and Govinda Bhog. This effort aims to support farmers and help them improve their crop yields and livelihoods.
On June 23, 2024, glasses were distributed free of cost to poor people in the village by the NGO. The event took place at Thakur’s house in Dangna village, under the Bhimpur police station area. This initiative aimed to help improve the vision and quality of life for those in need.
On June 2nd, a football tournament was held at Tantipara Mistry Math Maidan, and we emerged as the champions! It was a thrilling event with many teams competing, but our team’s hard work, skill, and teamwork led us to victory. We are proud of our accomplishment and grateful for the support of our fans and community.
On 29 April 2024, an eye surgery, eye examination and glasses distribution camp was organized under the management of Krishnanagar Center for Social Studies and Research at Dangna village of Chapra police station. 250 patients are given glasses free of charge in this free eye examination camp.
KCSSR participated in a one day football tournament in Krishnanagar Sukanta Palli. KCSSR team got Trophies for the man of the match and best goalkeeper.
