The Krishnanagar Center for Social Studies and Research distributed seed paddy among the farmers for cultivating paddy in the current season (June).
In Nadia district, this organization did various social service work as well as stood by the farming families.
This organization has received Govindabhog and Randhuni Pagal rice seeds from Kalyani Agricultural University. Which they distribute among the farmers.
Not only this, but the farmers are also taught the methods of paddy cultivation and home-based workshops.
Nirbhay Maitra, secretary of KCSSR, said there was less interest among farmers in Gobindbhog paddy cultivation in Nadia district. So the seeds have been given to the farmers for sowing paddy completely free of cost. So that the farmers become interested in cultivating this paddy. The agronomist government has discussed and encouraged the farmers to cultivate paddy. In order to make the right decision at the right time, apply fertilizer and take care of it, the provision was distributed among the farmers published by Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
Not only that, Bidhan Babu promised and assured that he would buy paddy from the farmers at a reasonable price .
Nirbhaya Maitra further said that if the enthusiasm among the farmers increases, next year we will be able to give seed paddy from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
